Dropped
We kind-of expected to see some news for the Nike LeBron 8 ahead of its 10th anniversary for the 2020-21 NBA Season, and news today has confirmed its return — and it’s kicking things off with an all-new “Lakers” colorway.
Update 11.30.20 First and official looks at the Nike LeBron 8 “Lakers” have landed. Showing a pair donning predominately purple, the imagery showcases the pair in a tumbled leather construction, with striking gold accents at the eyestay overlay, inner bootie, and oversized ankle Swoosh. Medial forefoot Checks come painted in black — the only time the hue appears — before switching to piercing whites at the midsole, laces, and Swoosh lining. Vibrant golden yellow Air systems sit atop a royal purple outsole, and the pair is complete with white branding in the rear, purple heel pulls, and James’ witness logo debossed on the insole.Update 11.30.20 Nike has revealed an official release date for the Nike LeBron 8 “Lakers”, with pairs locked in for a December 30th drop.
