Nike continues to expand its refreshed Pegasus Premium line with a new colorway for 2026: the Nike Pegasus Premium “Barley Grape.” The silhouette, which has quickly become one of Nike Running’s most elevated designs, pushes its modern identity even further through this soft, tonal finish.

Where earlier pairs leaned into grayscale minimalism, the “Barley Grape” edition shifts into something more expressive. The upper blends mesh, ribbed textiles, and translucent overlays in a layered mix of lavender and muted purple shades. It’s a treatment that highlights the shoe’s exaggerated paneling, giving the sculpted lines across the midfoot and heel more definition. A deep navy Swoosh adds subtle contrast without disrupting the overall tone.

Underfoot, the Pegasus Premium’s signature cushioning setup remains the star. A full-length, highly visible Air unit is framed by a two-piece midsole, this time split between icy blue and a sharp hit of crimson. The result is a stack that feels both technical and visually balanced — futuristic, but still rooted in Pegasus DNA.

Reflective touches also return, though Nike keeps them understated: they trace the curved overlay along the sidewall and top line, offering visibility without leaning fully into performance styling. It’s a small detail, but one that reinforces the Premium’s hybrid purpose as both a daily runner and a lifestyle-friendly option.

Pairs of the Nike Pegasus Premium "Barley Grape" are releasing on Nike.com soon.

Away from running, the Swoosh conglomerate is set to release a special edition of the "Bred" Air Jordan 1 '85 throughout October.
