The UEFA Nations League Final is just days away, meaning a sizable amount of attention is being paid to the beautiful game right now. Nike has taken the moment as an opportunity to introduce one of its most precise football boots to date: the Phantom 6 Elite.
Endorsed by Erling Haaland, Alexia Putellas, and other world-class athletes, the Nike Phantom build upon the foundation laid by the Phantom GX 1, GX 2, Luna 1, and Luna 2. The result is a product that provides unparalleled grip, aggressive, reliable traction, and enhanced precision, according to the brand.
Nike Football's latest boot achieves elite performance via a new Tuned Gripknit upper and improved Cyclone 360 plate. Both elements underwent several rounds of testing until both athletes and developers were happy with the final product.
"You can feel an immediate difference playing with the new Phantom," shared Putellas in an official announcement for the boot. "With the grip in the upper, I can put the ball exactly where I want it. Players with an offense mindset will love this boot for dribbling, passing and shooting with next-level precision."
For the first time, the Tuned Gripknit will be available across Pro and Academy versions of the Phantom 6, not just on the Elite edition. The move showcases the Swoosh's commitment to helping footballers at all levels unlock their best.
The Phantom 6 debuts a new last and more natural-fitting toe box. A more anatomical fit ensures the pair fits true to size and allows athletes to have a better feel for both the ball and pitch. Construction around the ankle has also been modified to increase comfort.
Inspired by the original Hypervenom from 2013, the Phantom 6 embraces an eye-catching presentation and rebellious spirit. Its Cyclone 360 plate also references the Hypervenom III's agility flex area, which proved useful to many on the pursuit of goals.
The new boot's launch colorway features hits of "Chrome" alongside orange and jade-reminiscent accents, ensuring the Phantom 6 can't be missed on the pitch.
