The Nike SB Blazer Mid has been on a flamboyant charge this year, with everything from patchwork and paisley releases gracing the Zoom Air-filled model. And although its next effort — the Nike SB Blazer Mid “Oversized” — remains calm in terms of color, it’s modified design cues are anything but, as the brand gets a little heavy-handed on its overlays.

Here, jet black uppers are split between canvas in the rear and nubuck up front, with tonal canvas tongues and laces forming the pair’s base. From there, oversized and under-trimmed eye stay overlays arrive in tumbled leather, with big-bellied Swooshes also receiving an extra-large finish; they even receive a 3D embroidery overlock towards the toe. The pair is then completed by bright white back panels and liners, and a classic white and gum sole unit underfoot.
