Though the Nike SB Dunk Low has been busy with a slew of collaborative drops, the Swoosh’s skate division hasn’t forgotten about the silhouette’s in-line releases, nor have they repressed their playful approach to its design. The latest to surface is this Nike SB Dunk Low “Paisley” for 2022.
Nodding indie shit-shirts (as we call them out here in Australia), the pair brings some thrift store flair though it’s brown, green, and pink paisley printed uppers. It’s the kind of stuff you’d see at the bowls club on a Sunday afternoon. The 70s flavor is trimmed by thick brown piping and is matched in hue at the liners, laces, and heel overlays. The muted hues are met by bright white Swooshes, heel embroidery, and midsoles, and the pain is capped off by a gum rubber outsole.
