Nike Terminator High “Cocoa Snake” Channels a Classic Air Force 1 Low
The return of the Nike Terminator in 2022 will touch on OG re-runsand collaborative efforts with Comme des Garçons, but it will also show some love to the Air Force 1 for its 40th anniversary, as the retro hoops model has just appeared in a classic Uptown colorway from the early 2000s.
First looks at the Nike Terminator High “Cocoa Snake” so a slick transfer of colors and materials from the memorable limited-edition Air Force 1 from earlier this century, a colorway which itself returned in 2018for the very first time. Ripping that pair one-for-one, Nike’s new terminator sports white leather uppers and overlays of the titular finish, with jet black Swooshes, laces, and tongue tags also on point with the Air Force 1. Unique to the Terminator are rear panels of snakeskin and bold block letters in the back, while a vintage flair is added to the sole unit to round out the design.
