Nike's decision to revive the iconic Total 90 III for its lifestyle lineup has been met with eager anticipation as football fans and fashion enthusiasts alike prepare to embrace the nostalgia of one of the sport’s most beloved silhouettes. Initially announced in July 2024, the model’s return signals a bold move from the Swoosh, seemingly aimed at competing with the dominance of terrace classics like the Samba, Gazelle, and Handball SPZL.

As the Total 90 III’s catalog grows, one of the first confirmed styles has now surfaced in official imagery via Nike.com. Joining previously revealed "Bordeaux" and OG-inspired "Metallic Silver" editions, this latest addition—a sleek Black Patent colorway—leans into the flashy, high-gloss aesthetic that defined the boot’s legendary past.

This iteration features a full patent leather upper, drenched in deep black, giving it an undeniably bold and striking presence. Nike keeps the branding in silver, with the oversized "90" emblem on the medial wall as a direct homage to the original football boot’s signature iconography. Pops of rich yellow add an extra contrast layer, appearing on various branding details. Underfoot, a clean white midsole and black rubber outsole provide a balanced finish, ensuring the pair retains its sporty roots while remaining versatile for everyday wear.

Set to release in Spring/Summer 2025, the Nike Total 90 III "Black Patent" will be available via Nike.com and select retailers.

In other retro news from Nike, the Air Max 95 "Neon" is set for a comeback in March.
