Nike is once again dipping into the archives, reviving a beloved early-2000s icon with the Total 90 III.
While previous releases have already captured the attention of soccer purists and lifestyle enthusiasts alike, this latest black and gum iteration leans even further into nostalgia—offering a finish that mirrors the natural aging of an original pair from decades past.
Unlike its previously released patent-adorned counterparts, this edition opts for a muted matte finish across its black leather upper, allowing the subtle textural details to shine through. The grey collar and midsole appear slightly weathered, evoking the well-worn appeal of a vintage grail. Embroidered Swoosh branding and crochet-like laces add to the shoe’s old-school aesthetic, reinforcing its connection to the early 2000s era of football footwear. Underfoot, a gum sole nods to the history of indoor football trainers.
The Nike Total 90 III SP "Black/Gum" is expected to arrive at Nike.com and select retailers in the coming months, retailing for $100.
