Nike Vomero Plus "Anthracite" Drops Oct. 1

Nike continues its exploration of retro-inspired running silhouettes with the upcoming Nike Vomero Plus "Anthracite," a colorway that leans into the shoe’s futuristic design language with a moody, space-dusted finish.

The Vomero Plus, with its oversized tooling and visible X-MODS cushioning, has emerged as a modernized nod to Nike’s technical runners of the 2000s. This version arrives in a layered textile and mesh upper, dressed in a speckled anthracite grey that gives off a rugged, stone-like effect. A tonal midsole in matte black builds on the stealth aesthetic, while metallic accents on the lateral Swoosh provide a slight sheen that breaks through the darkened palette.

True to the Vomero’s reputation for comfort, this model maintains its exaggerated midsole with embedded Zoom Air cushioning, making it just as functional on-foot as it is eye-catching. The angular overlays and sculpted midsole lines give it a statement-making look that aligns with Nike’s current fusion of archival design and forward-facing performance tech.

The Vomero Plus will be available via Nike.com on October 1st.
