Nike’s push into statement-making performance runners continues with the upcoming Nike Vomero Plus “Concord,” a vibrant new iteration that immediately calls to mind one of the brand’s most beloved Air Max colorways.

At first glance, the pairing of crisp white mesh, bold pink accents, and deep royal blue tooling feels unmistakably reminiscent of the iconic Air Max 180 “Ultramarine.” While the pigment balance shifts slightly here — with richer Concord blues and a more saturated pink wrapping the heel — the visual DNA is hard to ignore. It’s a modern reinterpretation of a classic formula, translated onto one of Nike’s most exaggerated contemporary silhouettes.

The Nike Vomero Plus “Concord” features a lightweight white upper layered with subtle texturing through the midfoot and heel. A soft grey Swoosh keeps the lateral side understated, allowing the sculpted midsole to do the heavy lifting. Underfoot, the oversized ZoomX-infused platform flows from Concord blue at the forefoot into vivid pink at the heel, creating a fluid gradient effect that mirrors the shoe’s sweeping lines.

Further elevating the release is a special circular 1–12 hangtag attached at the laces. Its meaning remains unclear, but it hints at either a numbered concept, a performance nod, or a broader thematic rollout tied to the Vomero Plus line.

With its blend of heritage-inspired color blocking and forward-leaning tooling, the Nike Vomero Plus “Concord” sits comfortably between nostalgia and next-gen performance.

A release is expected this summer via Nike.com/Running and select retailers.
