Nike Zoom Double Stacked “Black Volt” Debuts on July 2nd
After doing the rounds on Instagram for months — and having just been unveiled in its debut “Barely Volt” option — the Nike Zoom Double Stacked looks poised to be the next big lifestyle-performance crossover sneaker for Nike. And as it appears, the aforementioned color option won’t be the only inaugural release, with a second “Black Volt” release set to release alongside it next month.
A single layer of Zoom Air makes for one of the cushiest rides around. But a double-stack of Zoom with a foam sock liner is comfort on a level that’s unbelievable. The design philosophy of the Double Stacked is about comfort informing style, with exposed layers of Zoom cushioning in the heel and forefoot, an unfinished TPU Swoosh, and deco stitching on a breathable mesh upper giving a modern DIY vibe to this all-new option from Nike.
