The Nike Zoom GP “Canyon Gold” is the latest retro Gary Payton sneaker to hit the market, following the sneaker’s first ever re-release earlier this year. It’s been welcomed with open arms by old and new heads alike, thanks to both its nostalgic appeal and Eric Avar’s wildly unique design.
Boasting asymmetrical lace covers, ski boot-inspired clip lockdown system, alternating collar height, and cut-out overlays, the pair opts for a more subdued all-black suede upper paired with hits of Sonics-friendly Canyon Gold on the Swooshes and heel pulls. Liners, outsoles and mudguard overlays all arrive in white, while a final pop of the aforementioned gold arrives under the heel’s Zoom Air unit to complete the design.
Already available at select retailers like Caliroots and Footshop, you can pick up your pair of the Nike Zoom GP “Canyon Gold” right now for $160 — word on a Stateside release is still radio silent, so stay tuned for more.
