Gary Payton’s Zoom GP to Release in Throwback Sonics Colors Next Week

Following the unveiling of Gary Payton’s first-ever Nike Zoom GP retro comes this all-new take on the ’99 designed sneaker, one that takes on the colors of the Supersonics uniform colors of the 1995-2001 era.

The lush “Cosmic Bonsai” upper, white midsole and cut-out mudguard overlay, and Yellow-Gold laces and outsole provide the traditional Sonics colors, with the heel panel, liner, and asymmetrical lacing system all arriving in the period-specific burgundy. The ski boot-inspired lockdown clip comes in stark black, with two-toned Swooshes hitting the shroud overlay to complete the design.
