Patta x Nike Air Max 90 "Waves" Collection Releases Soon

Dutch sneaker boutique Patta, renowned for its iconic collaborations with Nike on the Air Max 1, will bring a fresh twist to a sister sneaker of the line, the Patta x Nike Air Max 90 "Waves" for Summer 2025.

According to reports from the authority on all-things Air Max, Bubblekoppe, Patta is set to adapt this beloved aesthetic to another classic silhouette, the Air Max 90, building on the success of their distinctive "Waves" design originally introduced on the Air Max 1. At least three different pairs are expected to launch.

The "Waves" design is celebrated for its unique wavy overlays, a feature that captured the hearts of sneaker enthusiasts when it debuted in 2021 on the Air Max 1. This design shift to the Air Max 90 marks an exciting new chapter, blending a tried-and-true Patta signature with a different but equally cherished Nike model. The move from Air Max 1 to Air Max 90 is a bold leap, promising to marry the structural integrity and heritage of the '90s icon with the fluid, contemporary lines of the "Waves" motif.

A first look at the design is seen above and below in a Flat Pewter and Royal Pulse color scheme, as well as a Grey/Cyber option. A third Particle Grey/Black style could be exclusive to Patta. The collection is releasing via Nike.com accompanied by an apparel collection on June 24, 2025.
