Nike Basketball is revving up for a proper retro run of Paul George's debut signature sneaker, the PG 1. Numerous styles have already been linked to release rumors, with the latest positing that the silhouette's "Ivory" (or "Summer Pack") look returns during the fall season.
Recently, X user @sneaker_sense shared that the beloved hoops model will return in its light-colored look from April 2017. The full color description is "Ivory/Oatmeal/Gum Medium Brown/Vivid Sky," but the initial off white tone claims most real estate across George's signature shoe. Scale-like panels are expected to reprise their role, offering a luxurious touch today just as they did nine years ago.
The PG 1's "Flip the Switch" ensemble is also expected to return before 2027 arrives, promising fans of the original run to relive the sneaker while providing new audiences an opportunity to discover what made the design so popular in the late 2010s.
A firm Nike.com release date is still under wraps, but that should change as September approaches.
