Premium Air Max 90 “Ashen Slate” Appears

Throughout its 30th anniversary celebration, we’ve seen the Air Max 90 run through a wide variety of finishes, from Earth-friendly options to conceptual designs like the recently-released “Archetype”. The next release is not as imaginative as the aforementioned, but it does bring in alternate material placements alongside simple tonal contrast blocking to deliver something a little different for the silhouette.

Here, blue-tinted, light grey mesh uppers work with overlays of premium leather and suede in both light sky blue and the titular slate at the toe/mid and mudguard respectively. the two hues are mimicked across the eyestays, and lateral and heel branded panels, the latter joining the tongue and Air cassettes in sporting a sandy beige embellishment. Breaking up the muted hues is a piercing white Swoosh set and matching midsole, before reverting back to the titular hue for the majority of the outsole’s pigmentation to complete the design.

Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see a rollout of the Nike Air Max 90 PRM “Ashen Slate” hit select retailers in the coming weeks.
