During its peak, the Nike SB Dunk never seemed to miss a chance to drop a celebratory colorway, nor did it pass up the chance to deliver a banging collaboration. Now that the Dunk climbing its way back to popularity, the Swoosh’s Skateboarding division is looking to reinstate two of its biggest legacies once more for a Valentine’s Day-themed collaboration with the aptly named StrangeLove Skateboards.

After a slew of slow-burning teasers, the pair is finally set to debut, with detailed looks at the loved-up suede and velvet pair arriving accompanied by a locked-in release date. Like most V-Day sneakers, it arrives in red tones, from ultra-light pastel pinks to deep reds, with smack-bang-in-the-middle pink suedes providing the pair’s most significant color pops. Velvet unders arrive in barely-pink, while liners and Swooshes arrive in the same fabric, yet dyed in heart-warming shades of red. White midsoles arrive with contrast stitching, and it rests atop a pink rubber outsole. Co-branded tongues and the signature ‘Heart Skull’ graphic on the lateral heel completes the sneaker, while the box – a work of art in its own right – takes cues from Valentine’s Day cards shared in elementary school, coming with a whole host of goodies including artwork, a custom card, and decals.
