New York’s legendary skate label Supreme will continue their long-standing partnership with Nike SB into 2022, with the two set to link up on another release of the famous Supreme x Nike Blazer Mid.
Though it likely won’t live up to the hype of their trio of quilted efforts from 2006 (pictured above), it will undoubtedly bring a little more attention to the mainstay SB Blazer lineage. Seemingly borrowing cues from the original pack’s black colorway, this new-to-2022 release looks the dark hue for its anchor point, with quilted leather uppers and tongues serving as a tribute to the original. Here, though, Swooshes look to golden snakeskin hues, with tongue branding and rear hardware to match; another key difference between the releases is the deployment of an all-black sole unit, as the original sported white.
This isn’t the only pair on the way from the two parties, with an overbranded Supreme x Nike SB Blazeralso in the works.
Set to release in a handful of color options, the Supreme x Nike SB Blazer Mid is expected to form part of the brand’s Fall 2022 schedule, though a confirmed date has not yet been identified.
