Air Force 1 Low “Keep ‘Em Fresh” Comes Wrapped in Tissue

The humble Air Force 1 has been the focus of much R & D of late. From the colorful patterned suede Women’s Day release to the aptly-titled Experimental edition, the silhouette has seen its fair share of out-there tweaks. The latter found itself shrink-wrapped, for God’s sake. For its next release, it gets wrapped again — this time in tissue — in an effort to Keep ’em Fresh.

Images of this new Air Force 1 Low via @US_11 shows the pair plastered in protective tissue wrap that reads “AF1”. On the lateral ankle, big, bold Nike lettering reads “Timeless Classic — Keep Fresh” — which serves as a juxtaposition, considering the sneaker that resides beneath is finished with an overall aged appearance. From the glimpse of the under shoe seen, we see an off-white leather upper with vintage-look tan edges atop a pre-aged sole unit.

Intriguingly, it appears that the stitching is reinforced at the Swoosh, which likely means that you could remove the shroud and keep the tissue tacked onto the Swoosh — though the official images don’t show it.

A release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Keep ’em Fresh” has not yet been announced, but with official images appearing online, you should expect to see a release sooner rather than later.
