The Nike Air Max 98 Heads to the Wild West

The upcoming “Wild West” Pack, which includes an Air Max 97, Air Max 95 and this Air Max 98, has a surprising level of hype surrounding it. On paper, the mix of suede, distressed denim, and paisley, sounds like it would be a little too left field for most. But to Nike’s credit, the pack displays outstanding execution and equally incredible use of materials. The Swoosh design team have truly captured the untamed aesthetic from the frontier period of the 1800s, which is not an easy thing to do on silhouettes as futuristic as the Air Max 97 and 98.
