Intergalactic as!
Paul George isn’t the only NBA star to gift his fans an out-of-this-world sneaker to kick off 2019, with LeBron James next to enter the space theme’s orbit on the LeBron 16.
The kids-exclusive sneaker rocks a basic black and white base, inspired by a modern-day space shuttle fuselage, and it comes equipped with a flaming-hot outsole, resembling a space shuttle re-entering the atmosphere. But the attention to detail doesn’t stop there, with the sneaker arriving with a number of astronaut suit-styled patches, including one with the exact same design featured on the tongue of the revered LeBron 9 “Big Bang.” The other embroidered embellishments include a Nike wings logo, an American flag decal, and a LeBron James flight suit insignia.
Not too dissimilar to the ANTA KT4 All-Star, this LeBron 16 GS’s patches also appear to be removable and can be placed wherever and however the wearer wants.
