The Nike Dunk Low “Syracuse” Restocks in November

The humble Nike Dunkhas seen it all. A dedicated hoop shoe-turned streetwear staple has ridden the high highs and very low lows during its three-and-a-half-decade-long reign. It’s instant market success is attributed to its college program releases, along with a turn of the century resurgence thanks to SB Godfather Sandy Bodecker, has put the multi-purpose silhouette amongst the greatest of all-time. It’s been missing on the mainstream scene for a few years now, but in 2020, it’s back in a big way. Turning 35 is a big deal — trust me — and to celebrate, the Swoosh is looking to unleash an array of classics to both satisfy the previous generation and tempt the new. We’ve already had the “Viotech”and “Plum” editions from the early 2000s return, and now a familiar two-toned orange and white “Syracuse” version returns.

Named after the collegiate team that was part of the original 1985 Be True To Your School (BTTYS) pack, it returns in a low-cut form that — aside from the sneaker’s height — is true to the OG. Previewed just yesterday by Don C, the pair is set to arrive Down Under on February 15th, yet a Stateside release is yet to be confirmed, We’re expecting a release very very soon.

After a small regional release in Australia earlier this month, official images of the Nike Dunk Low “Syracuse” have landed, indicating a proximal release for the pair. Nike is yet to confirm a release date, but we are expecting pairs to arrive in March alongside the OG-inspired “Kentucky” Dunk Low.
