Air Max 90 Adds Elegant Gold Chains and Mosaic Pendants

From encrusted lace jewelry on the Air Force 1 LX to Cuban Links on the Air Max 90, Nike has been displaying a penchant for all things bling when it comes to their retro footwear lines in 2020. The next to take the bijou baton is this Air Max 90 which adds a statement anklet chain to offset its ultra-elegant and minimal makeup.

From toe to tail, you’ll find a tonal construction in cream, with leathers, plastics, and plush — almost corduroy-like — mesh making up the bulk. White sole units provide a subtle change-up underfoot, while metallic silver Swoosh sets and vamp overlays do the same for the upper. Already exuding decadence, the pair elevates itself once more through metallic gold branding at the tongue and insole — the latter glazed atop a majestic Dark Beetroot shade. The pair is then complete with the aglets and the aforementioned chain in dazzling yellow gold, with its Swoosh pendant capped off in a cream mosaic finish.

These elegant Air Max 90s are expected to arrive in Europe this week, with pairs hitting retailers Overkill come December 5th for $140. A Stateside drop has not yet been confirmed, but you should expect it to be shortly after. If you can’t wait it out, Overkilldoes ship internationally.
