It’s always a pleasant time of year in late February, a time where sneaker brands begin to unveil their softly-hued releases for Spring. Easter palettes and lightly saturated colors bring an overwhelming sense of anticipation for much warmer weather — something we’re all looking forward to. The next to appear is a perfect example of a Spring colorway, the Nike Air Max 90 “Pink Oxford”

Pairing muted peach with both white and pastel rose, the pair stays well within its neutral-nude spectrum. Uppers are split between mesh at the collar and canvas at the toe, while its abundance of overlays stick to staple leather — each taking on a varying shade of pink. Eyelets, brand panels, and midsoles boast a bright white, as too does the rear branding for significant contrast. From there, the outsole indulges in a dark pink-fawn dip at the toe and heel, while insoles take a trip down memory lane with retro shoe box-inspired stripe detail to complete the design.
