Playful Nike Blazer Low “Picnic” Appears Ahead of Spring

Spring brings many things; Clear skies, colorful flora, and low-cut sneakers just to name a few. But for the most part, it’s about enjoying the great outdoors after being coupled up in the apartment from a long, icy winter. Weather permitting, picnics play a big role in the Spring/Summer season and even more so during COVID restrictions where distancing indoors becomes difficult. These ladies-exclusive “Picnic” Nike Blazer Lows look to capture that essence, with a whimsical, fun, and bright mix of pastels and picnic staples.

Canvas is the construction of choice, with alternating lateral and medial panels of pastel pink and blue respectively. Toes and eyestays arrive in a simple white finish, with the latter lifted by the use of sacai-like dual lacing. Lateral toe and heel panels rip hues directly from the medial blue, while gingham picnic rug prints feature prominently on the Swooshes and liners— again in both red and blue. Completing the design is a set of playful, Swoosh-smile berry illustrations atop the tongue tags, and a semi-translucent outsole underfoot in scorching hot pink.

Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see pairs of the Nike Blazer Low “Picnic” arrive at select retailers soon.
