A classic silhouette like the Nike Blazer naturally lends itself to experimentation. The clean lines, simplistic design and its far-reaching popularity can enable Nike to test the waters. Recently we’ve seen some pretty audacious offerings, some with new blocking, and some with new materials. This Nike Blazer Mid “Glacier Blue” fits the latter category, with brand-new fittings forging it’s key point of difference.

Aside from the obvious add-on, the pair is as basic as it gets; all white leather uppers come complete with tonal overlays and color-match sole units, while its tongues and liners, too, arrive in white. The tack-on Swooshes arrive in a semi-translucent TPU in the titular color, but it’s not stitched straight onto the shoe — it sits atop a protective mesh surround. More blue hues hit the tongue and rear branding, the last of which arrives stitched into a matte silver rear panel.

A release date for the Nike Blazer Mid “Glacier Blue” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see these hit stores over the next few months.
