Atmos, a titan in sneaker collaborations, is venturing back into the spotlight. This time, the focus shifts back to Puma, as they offer a fresh take on the classic Puma Suede.
Atmos' penchant for thematic and culturally infused designs continues with their latest project, the Sukajan Puma Suede, the third in a series.
The Sukajan, also known as the "souvenir jacket," was celebrated in 2021 through two versions of the Puma Suede in blue and black. For their latest iteration, Atmos continues to blend tradition with contemporary streetwear, embedding the sneaker with ornate designs reminiscent of the intricate embroidery on these iconic jackets.
The newest edition features rich synthetic fabrics on the quarter panels, adorned with vibrant dragon embroidery that stretches across a golden Puma Formstrip, while platinum clouds add further detail. Not stopping there, the medial side of each sneaker showcases a stylized map of Japan—from the tip of the toe to the collar—capped with a majestic depiction of Mt. Fuji and elegant cursive spelling out "Japan" beneath.
As is often the case with Atmos' collaborations, this release is expected to be a Japan-exclusive.
Expect an official announcement from the retailer soon.
