The PUMA Speedcat isn't ready to fall back into obscurity just yet. In addition to getting a massive co-sign by "It Girls" across the world, the motorsport-informed silhouette is getting reworked by the likes of Tokyo-based fashion label noir kei ninomiya.
The collaboration was unveiled by way of noir kei ninomiya's Fall/Winter 2026 Paris Fashion Week® runway show "DARK BLOOMING" in March. Kei Ninomiya's vision for the trendy silhouette covers the low-profile model in a series of translucent molded flowers. Red, black, and white form the inaugural capsule, offering a tonal and highly-versatile trio for the fashion-forward consumer.
The Speedcat's DNA is intact and visible through the opaque overlays found across the upper and laces. "noir kei nino" branding places typical logos on the tongue; it's possible packaging and other material will also nod to the collaborative nature of the experimental PUMA shoes.
A PUMA.com hasn't been confirmed as of writing, but the noir kei ninomiya Speedcats should release by the end of September.
