Fresh off unveiling its 30th anniversary collection for Pokémon, PUMA SportStyle has revealed a limited-edition capsule in collaboration with The Powerpuff Girls franchise.
The beloved cartoon also recently joined forces with Sanrio for a Hello Kitty® & Friends project, which turns Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup into soft, collectible plushies. PUMA, however, brings Townsville's crime-fighters to Speedcat form, reimagining the classic sneaker in black-and-green, pink, and blue color schemes.
Drawing inspiration from the Girls' costumes, two of the collection's Speedcats opt for ballet shoe-inspired makeovers. Buttercup's pair keeps all of its motorsport DNA intact. All three styles feature heart-shaped hardware that nods to Professor X's creations.
Currently, all The Powerpuff Girls x PUMA Speedcat styles and accompanying apparel and accessories are exclusively available across PUMA.com in Asia. A stateside launch could take place soon.
