The PUMA Speedcat continues being a go-to sneaker choice for BLACKPINK's ROSÉ. The 29-year-old artist previously released a capsule in honor of her debut studio album, rosie, but now she's simply helping the Big Cat Brand usher in the Speedcat Etiole, a new, ballet-inspired era for the iconic shoe.
A quick glance at ROSÉ's latest sneaker obsession reveals the ballet inspiration, which arrives in the form of a satin base and ribbon laces tied in a bow near the bottom of the tongue. The update's name, however, also speaks to the dance inspo behind the Speedcat, as Étoile is French for a principal dancer in a ballet company.
Being the global superstar that she is, ROSÉ was the perfect person to unveil the PUMA Speedcat Etiole. Her feminine, often-reserved style and dancing background are reflected in the new Women's shoe, which PUMA hopes will be a massive hit.

The PUMA Speedcat Etiole will release in three versatile colorways: "Buttercream/Gum," "Misty Pink/Chocolate Fondue," and "PUMA Black." The former two pairs indulge in soft, pastel tones, while the third style sees a semi-faded aesthetic that taps into semi-distressed trends.
More color schemes are expected to launch over the next year. ROSÉ could eventually get her own Speecat Etiole collaboration, too.
A PUMA.com release takes place on Thursday, July 30. The Women's Speedcat Etiole is priced at $110.
