The Reebok Instapump Fury is currently in celebration of its 25th anniversary, but they’re taking a break from their own party to help celebrate China’s annual Moon Festival. And, like adidas’ Mooncake-inspired Ultra BOOST, the Three-Stripe’s subsidiary brand will also look towards festival-specific delicacies for inspiration. This time its the main course —Shanghai’s infamous Hairy Crab — But it’s not all about food, the Bok is also paying homage to the nation’s capital, Beijing.
The two pairs arrive drastically different in makeup; the Beijing in a chalk/terracotta/teal makeup, and the Hairy Crab in an earthy black and olive. Material makeups are different, too, with the light pair sporting equally light perforated mesh and soft suedes, while the other fittingly opts for hairy suedes and heavy-duty ballistic mesh.
Take a peep at both pairs from the “Moon Festival” Reebok Instapump Fury Pack below, and expect a rollout to coincide with the festival on September 13th in Greater China and select locations throughout Asia. A Stateside release cannot be confirmed at this stage, so stay tuned for more info.
