After the highly acclaimed collaboration for FW22, MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon are back at it, taking the sneaker world by storm with the first-ever XT-4 Mules. The avant-garde fashion house MM6 Maison Margiela joins forces again with Salomon, the renowned French sports equipment company, to offer a blend of style and functionality just in time for summer.
The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-4 Mules come in three striking colorways. One version adorns creamy earth tones, evoking a sense of natural elegance, while the other bursts with vibrancy through teal, purple, and yellow accents. The final is an all-black variant. The new design retains the signature features of the XT-4 silhouette but reinvents it by introducing a chopped heel design.
Despite the rear-end overhaul, the XT-4 Mules haven’t compromised on performance. They feature a full-length Agile Chassis™ Skeleton, which ensures stability and agility. The one-pull Quicklace system makes slipping on and securing the mules effortless. The mesh uppers are fortified with a carbon-like coating, while dual-density midsoles offer superior cushioning.
Margiela’s iconic number branding is seen across the toe box, with the number 6 encircled, signifying MM6 Maison Margiela's contribution. Moreover, multi-colored nylon strips are affixed on the tongue, adding a touch of boldness alongside the “XT-4 Mule” branding.
Now, after over a year of waiting, the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-4 Mules will be released, with Salomon US confirming a release date of June 25th, 2024. Pairs will retail for $410 each.
