The Nike Air Max 98 “I-95” Releases This Week

On the road again.

At the start of the month, we previewed an Air Max 95 and Air Max 97 dedicated to the east coast’s I-95 Highway system. Now, a third pair for the pack has surfaced in the form of an Air Max 98.

The silhouette has had a strong year off the back of its 20th anniversary celebration in 2018 and has gained significant attention for the first time in years. The other two pairs from the I-95 pack draw inspiration from the highway’s green signs and orange construction cones, with this black, Gunsmoke, and Lava Glow formulation seemingly drawing inspiration from a cars brake lights — something you see a lot of during peak time on the motorway. It’s combo of black and grey keep it grounded — literally — paying homage to the asphalt and bitumen road surfaces.

The Air Max 98 “I-95” will release alongside the Air Max 97 and Air Max 95 of the pack at select stores and directly from Nike.com on January 26th.
