Vans continues to revel in the moment of popularity it's been experiencing over the last year. Spearheaded by the OTW category, the California-based brand will soon launch another elevated Old Skool 36 "Souvenir" project.
Originally brought to life by Greg Betty, the OTW by Vans design has become bigger than the creative, who's now at Jordan Brand. The "Souvenir" concept famously draws inspiration from Chanel's Graffiti Messenger Bag from 2014's "On the Pavement" collection. A newly-surfaced "Oatmeal" makeover is a bit tamer than its predecessors, but it's still covered in skid marks, knitted fabrics, and pins. The result is another pair that deviates just enough from mainline Vans offerings to provide bold fashion-enthusiasts an experimental footwear style.
Enjoy detailed official photos of the "Oatmeal" Old Skool 36 by OTW by Vans ahead. Pairs are expected to hit Vans.com and select shops by the end of July for $125.
