Official images of the Nike LeBron 15 “Ashes”

Ok, I’ll admit it – I was a little to early to jump over these from the first images we saw. Who knows – I was probably in a shitty mood or hadn’t had my coffee or whatever. But the fresh new colorways and detailed look at these LeBron 15 “Ashes” has definitely changed my perceptions.

This is the first colorway that will hit retail for LeBron’s 15th signature sneaker. Named “Ashes”, this Nike LeBron 15 comes with flame logos on the inner tongues – it’s reference is unknown for now.

Now, the sneaker designed by Jason Petrie is more than just aesthetic, the Nike LeBron 15 comes constructed with a Flyknit upper that provides strategic stretch, a locked-in fit and durability. Underfoot is a fully articulated cushioning system that combines Max Air and Zoom Air units, while a full-bootie construction offers a secure, one-to-one fit. It’s not your typical looking basketball shoe, it’s probably the most fashionable of the LeBrons yet, and also the best in performance.

The first Nike LeBron 15 “Ashes” will release on October 28th at select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com for $185. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on more colorways as they come to light, but I’ll be waiting on that Cavs “Wine” colorway that you know will be on the way – that will definitely get a lot of people over the line on these.
