Adidas F50 Adiframe Remembers 2006 with "Beige" Makeover

Hate it or love it, the Adidas 50 Adiframe is one of the more interesting design proposals of the last year. Previewed for the first time earlier in the year, the repurposed football boots model from 2006 is gearing up to make a statement ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

As its name suggests, the hybrid silhouette references the +F50.6 Tunit from almost 20 years ago. Its shrouded upper has been reimagined by Y-3 for a Beast Pack, although most of Adidas Originals' plans for the lifestyle-oriented take opts for a healthy mix of tonal color executions and nostalgic nods to the past. The most recent beige-and-burgundy-colored option modifies an original colorway of the football boots once endorsed by Lionel Messi.

A medley of drab tones take over the bulk of the synthetic upper, allowing for elements clad in a wine-reminiscent color to revel in the spotlight across the forefoot, inner lining, and hind-foot. Below, the protected stud plate also opts for a claret-like finish similar to what's found on the Arsenal 25/25 Third jersey honoring Highbury.
