Once considered the premium of the trefoil basketball range, the adidas Forum Low like many retro designs before it, has made the successful transition from hardcourt beast to streetwear staple. The 1984 three stripe icon is back once again, the traditionally minimalistic silhouette delivers a women’s exclusive pack that arrives with three colorways under the moniker “I Love Dance”.

Showcasing and utilizing the adidas Forum as its foundation, the three colorways offer expressive designs to help fit in with any outfit or daily rotation. Firstly, the predominately all-white shoe uses premium leather and rubbers to construct and establish its retro lines, thin black trimming frames the panels and results in beautiful contrasts. Bold black lace strap features a white leather plait design, underneath atop of the mesh tongue, and offering the only hits of color is the duel pink and white laces complete with a translucent blue dubrae. Completing the design is the two-tone black and white rubber sole unit.

Secondly, like its predecessor, white leather and rubber is used in its construction which is the perfect blank canvas for its more expressive design elements. Subtle green, pink, grey, and white marble overlays can be seen on the medial to heal, also the lace velcro straps. Black laces configured in a ladder arrangement steps down to the green dubrae and white plaited laces above the toe box. The white rubber sole unit holds up the look. Last but not least, the Bold silhouette displays white mesh as its foundational textile for the upper, mint leather overlays stretch from the toe to heel, white leather overlay on the heel, and a rear mudguard is saturated in the same marble effect as previously seen on the aforementioned design. Plaited white laces weave down to the unique trefoil dubraes while underfoot at the shoe bedrock we can see a semi-translucent icy blue sole unit. Completing all three designs is typical branding placements.

A fourth Forum has joined the “I Love Dance” pack — and it appears with ribbed tongues, and both candy stripe and iridescent details. It has been earmarked for a March 4th release in Canada, and a March 14th drop Stateside, though outer global Three Stripe sites are yet to list up any confirmed dates.
