adidas Forum Mid “Ambient Sky” Arrives July 16th

After tinkering with both Highs and Lows in a range of wild collaborative colorways, the adidas Forum has seemingly settled back into its mainline release — though it hasn’t seemed to have lost its creative flair. The next to appear adheres to that sentiment, utilizing the Forum Mid for a showcase of mixed blocking and materials inspired by retro basketball gear. It’s dubbed the adidas Forum Mid “Ambient Sky” due to its inclusion of baby blue hue, though the pair arrives mostly clad in staple white, bone, and black.

Traditional materials like smooth leather and suede make up the bulk, but thick mesh tongues and mid panels give the pair some new flair, albeit inspired by equipment of yesteryear. The medial sides boast a bit more blue, while the lateral lean more towards black, and the pair is capped off by a handful of retro apparel influence, including oversized Trefoils on the ankles, and cascading decoration at the tongue.
