adidas Dress the Ultra BOOST 5.0 with Rainbow Weave for Pride Month
Despite being out of favor from the mainstream sneakerhead scene, adidas and its Ultra BOOST lineage have still managed to carve out quite a niche following. The mass-market mover still remains towards the top of the Three Stripe sales numbers and is still touted as the world’s comfiest sneaker by any of its avid fans (and plenty who aren’t). Because of all this and more, the sneaker has been included in the brand’s annual Pride Month celebrations, joining a trio of Nizza and Forum options previewed last week.
Akin to those pairs, the BOOST-cushioned model boasts rainbow shades of red, blue, green, yellow, and orange across its Primeknit upper, each of which is split into distinct zones. The colors converge together on the multiple “LOVE UNITES” logos designed for the upcoming celebration this June, with each leather in the statement donning a different hue. Plastic profile caging and solid rear clips arrive in semi-translucent and cream coloration, while BOOST midsoles and Continental outsoles opt for shades purer.
