There were several things to see during the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend, but as far as footwear goes, the event was fairly tame. There were a few highlights, though, including the unveiling of Ja Morant, Donovan Mitchell, and Jayson Tatum’s new signature models — and a very first look at Benito’s newest Three Stripe collaboration.

The Bad Bunny x adidas Forum “Cangrejeros” celebrates the Cangrejeros de Santurce basketball team based of San Juan, a team in which the Puerto Rican rapper became a co-owner in 2021.

Clad mostly in neutral suede, the pair is rife with callouts to the franchise, from orange and navy accents to crab motifs at the tongues and “SANTRUCE” and “CANGREJEROS” embroidered on the underside of the Velcro straps; even the toe embroidery is delivered in the style of a basketball. Benito’s double-tongue, rear leather pull, and toggle systems are retained, with the top-shelf quality a given.
