Candace Parker x adidas Forum Coming Nov. 1st

Celebrating formidable female athletes in their latest collaborative collection, adidas has enlisted the help of Katie Ledecky, Keni Harrison, and now, the lady of the moment, Candace Parker to put their creative flair on a handful of Three Stripe classics.

Parker has been thrust into the spotlight several times this year, thanks to the City of Chicago’s official Candace Parker Day, and a handful of special adidas projects. Now coming fresh off her first season with Chicago Sky — a championship-winning season, mind you — Parker is set to deliver a special take on the Forum Low — and in staying true to her off-court style, it’s extremely elegant.

Clad mostly in black and gold, the pair works through a range of finishes, though it’s done predominately in buttery black leathers. You’ll find smokey, marked pops at the toe, midfoot Three Stripes, and heel —— the latter two finished with cracked gold detailing — metallic gold heel clips, and premium leather liners. Debossed branding at the lateral ankle is juxtaposed by bright white at the tongue before a handful of gold elements appears; namely the decorative dubraes and “Left Foot/Right Foot” strap detail. The pair is then completed by special graphic insoles consistent with the collection, and a simple two-tone sole unit underfoot.
