adidas is slowly upping the ante on the Forum’s return to form, with the 80s hoops icon revitalized by some big-name collabs. Eric Emanuel’s effort for the McDonald’s All-American Gamehas sparked some interest from the hoop heads, while retailers SVDand END hooked the streetwear sector. And then there’s Beyonce, who’s pushed the silhouette from day dot in her adidas x IVY PARK collections. Now the brand is reuniting with creative collective Girls Are Awesome (GAA) on the silhouette as a follow-up to their Superstars from early 2020.

A vastly different approach from their freshman Three Stripe efforts, GAA has arrived on three options of the Forum in vintage fashion. The Girls Are Awesome x adidas Forum Hi, Low, and Platform Low all dive into a blanket palette of sail, maroon, black, and gold that’s reminiscent f the aforementioned Emanuel’s debut effort with adidas back in late 2018. GAA get s a little more creative than EE, though, with the introduction of chenille, stripe prints, and dual-layered branding — and even opts to detail the silhouette’s signature lock-down ankle straps.

Like most sneakers of late, a release date for the Girls Are Awesome x adidas Forum Collection appears to be multi-faceted. Australia is expecting a drop on March 2nd, while the UK is a day later on the 3rd. Canada and the US will have to wait until the 4th and 9th respectively.
