Brace yourselves; winter is coming. Not just any winter, but one inspired by the biting blizzards with a long history of sweeping across the East Coast. Jacques Chassaing, the mastermind behind the original adidas Forum 84 Hi silhouette, revisits his iconic design to encapsulate the frozen fury of nature. This latest iteration, "Blizzard Warning," blends luxurious aesthetics with deeply rooted symbolism.
White leather is the canvas for this high top, a nod to winter’s signature hue. The texture remains true to its 1984 heritage, with a burst of light cream accents settling onto the suede mudguard and midsole. But the metallic silver touches on the signature 3-Stripes and the "FRM84" embroidered on the upper strap push the design into wintry opulence.
Not to be overshadowed, jet-black elements lay claim to the inner lining, heel tab, and collar, grounding the shoe with a dark contrast. Dazzling the eye further, the quarter panel and upper heel are adorned with an NBA Jacquard print. The show-stealing detail? An embroidered "BL2RD" insignia on the heel, stitched in a vibrant combination of blue, yellow, and red threads.
Pairs are scheduled to arrive in Europe on September 29, But a Stateside date is yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned for further release information as it becomes available.
