Jeremy Scott’s Dipped Forum Lows Drop October 3rd

Before collaborations became mainstream, and quite frankly, lazy, there was Jeremy Scott. Often eccentric, colorful, and downright bizarre, the designer’s efforts with adidas were a pivotal point in the history of sneakers. Finding a place in between high fashion and streetwear in the early 2000s, Scott’s Three Stripe designs landed on notable celebrity feet — including Kanye West. After a long hiatus, it was announced by adidas earlier this month that their partnership will resume in Fall 2021 and to ‘expect the unexpected’ — and for Scott, that is an absolute truth. Now, after previewing a two-piece “Money” pack, some Teddy Bear slides, and a four-pack of wax-dipped Forum Highs comes more of the latter — this time on two Lows.

Arriving in identical styling to the aforementioned Highs, both the Volt and Hot Pink options, arrive completely tonal, with each resting atop jelly sole units in their respective hues. Branding and patent leather tongues follow suit. The entire shoe dipped in a wax-like finish, with uppers coated in a semi-tinted, high-gloss glaze which is seen to drip down onto the midsole. The volt options features a stylized character of Scott’s famous face, whilst the pink pair proffers a standard Trefoil finish to complete the design.
