Ronnie Fieg's 8th Street Adidas Samba Japan Continues Clarks Partnership

Ronnie Fieg has been relatively quiet to start 2025, but he recently took to Instagram Stories to share one of the presumably many collaborations he has in store for the new year.

At least one more 8th Street Samba will launch before 2025 ends. Developed in partnership with Adidas Originals and Clarks Originals, the special update to the classic football silhouette took the sneaker space by storm when it debuted in the first-half of 2023. Fieg tapped two seemingly-random collaborators to combine their heritage atop a footwear product that's since sold out every time new colorways have launched. The newly-surfaced pair keeps things consistent with the 8th Street project–which nods to a strip in New York City that once flourished with footwear shops–although it introduces a new spin on it.

Fieg's upcoming release uses the Adidas Samba Japan as its base. While very similar to the popular Samba, this variant of the decades-old design features curved, quilted panels at the forefoot instead of the model's signature 'T' toe. The update falls in line with football boots of yesteryear–most notably the Adidas Predator series co-signed by David Beckham. A 'Core Black/Cloud White' color scheme divvies up real estate across the pair, which sits atop Clarks' iconic crepe tooling.

Firm release details haven't been shared by either party involved, but it's likely the 8th Street Samba Japan hits Kith's official channels by the end of spring. The three-way collaboration is priced at $220.
