Following their insatiable “Krusty Burger” ZX 10000and a nightcap at Flaming Moe’s, and a late-night stop for a Squishee at the Kwik-E-Mart, the Three Stripes add one final pair to their Simpsons collection: The Simpsons x adidas Forum Low “Duff Beer”
Are you ready to get Duffed? The Springfieldian beverage is arguably more iconic to the Simpsons than any of the aforementioned inspirations, featuring prominently throughout the long-running series from the early days. Its famous red, white, black, and gold wrapped around a silver aluminum can is an instantly-recognizable motif, so it should come as no surprise that adidas has taken a literal approach to the release.
The Simpsons x adidas Forum Low “Duff Beer” arrives anchored in metallic silver, with wrapping overlays of red, gold, and black, all in a high-gloss to mimic the can’s appearance. The pair once again applies signature Simpsons black outlines along the pair’s defining lines, while pops of white arrive along the laces and midsoles. Most obviously, the pair’s tongue tags and enamel dubraes call out the Duff directly, and the pair is capped off with co-branded insoles — unfortunately, there’s no sign of the legendary Duffman — Oh . . . no?
