Goldfish x Pokémon Collab Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Goldfish and Pokémon have come together for a limited-edition release marking the franchise’s 30th anniversary, bringing a familiar “collect them all” approach to the snack aisle.

The Goldfish x Pokémon collab centers on four original characters—Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Pikachu—translated into snack form. Inside, the product remains unchanged at its core, with the same cheddar Goldfish recipe, baked and made without artificial colors. The update comes through new shapes and subtle color variations that reference each Pokémon, paired with packaging designed with collectability in mind.

Alongside the product release, the collaboration introduces a sweepstakes beginning May 1. Fans can enter for a chance to win a trip to the Pokémon Fossil Museum at The Field Museum in Chicago, along with additional prizes including merchandise and product.

The rollout begins in May, with Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur packs arriving at retailers nationwide. Pikachu will be available exclusively through Walmart and Target. Pricing is set at $3.69 per pack.

The Goldfish x Pokémon collab keeps the concept simple, combining a well-known snack with recognizable characters, while leaning into the collectible aspect that has long been part of Pokémon.
