First Looks // Air Jordan 13 “CNY”
We’ve already had eyes on next year’s Chinese New Year releases for the Air Force 1 and Kyrie 6 — and now we get a first look at Nike’s marquee release from Jordan Brand, which takes shape on the Air Jordan 13
Already being labeled “the poor man’s CLOT” Jordan 13 on social thanks to the pair’s shroud that sports a similar Chinese lattice design to that found on the recent CLOT x Air Force 1 releases. Toes arrive matching in white suede, while the underlying layer and midsoles come in Club Gold — a given for any Chinese-themed release. Digital Pink outsoles are by far the most intriguing addition to the shoe which, through looking at these images for a good 20 mins is really starting to grow on me. Capping off the design is a Yin-Yang Jumpman tongue medallion, and it arrives in all-pink packaging.
Take in a first look at the pair below courtesy of @upcycle.sneaks, and you can expect the Chinese New Year Air Jordan 13 to arrive at select Jumpman cohorts and Nike.com on Feb. 1st for $200.
