After having just revealed 14 new GR colorways and having previewed four upcoming collaborative pairs from size?and Casablanca, it’s now pretty clear that the New Balance 327will be the Boston-based brand’s biggest focus for the remainder of 2020 — and beyond. The retro-inspired silhouetted bridges the gap between classic and contemporary through its tweaked throwback aesthetic and oft-absurd color palettes. The latest to surface is just that — absurd — and we say that with the best intentions. The vibrant split-blocked colors are shocking to the senses, with punchy orange nylon uppers on the lateral, contrasted by cooling greys on the medial. The lateral side gets even more audacious with mustard yellow suede overlays, whilst the medial rocks a more subdued mix of mint green (toe) and black (heel). Clean whites streak throughout the sneaker to break it all up, featuring on the tongues, laces, liners, oversized N motifs, and lateral midsoles. The medial side’s midsole brightens up the interior with lavender purple paintwork, and the pair is finalized by the pair’s most classical element: a gum rubber outsole.
Grab a look at this striking split-blocked release here below, and look for these to start rolling out at retailers over the course of the Summer. As always, be sure to keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for further updates on the pair.
