Having kicked off the silhouette’s return in style thanks to both Palace and Stray Rats, it appears that all things are go for the New Balance 580 V2 as we enter the new year, with several new colorways in the queue for the Boston-based brand. The next, this New Balance 580 V2 “Beef & Broccoli” has already drawn comparisons to another big-name partnership from the brand, with its classic aesthetic a dead ringer for Aime Leon Dore’s 993 from 2021.

Like that pair, this too features a murdered-out midsole (plus a pop of green) with brown and green suede and mesh up top. Though hues differ from ALD’s release, the overall premise is the same, with supple suede and mossy greens reminiscent of the staple meat and veg combination.
